Heraldo embarks on a motorcycle trip through the desert, attempting to find his missing father. He suffers an accident and gets wounded in the bottom of an abyss. Salmonón and Magdalena, a couple who lives in this inhospitable landscape, find him and take him to their home, where they put salt on his wounds and feed him with cactus. As his health improves, Heraldo reveals a soul in conflict. He must solve his torment in order to go back to the journey.
