In 1993, the young Cameron Post is caught with another girl on prom night. Her parents, conservative and religious, promptly send her to a conversion therapy center specialized in “curing” teenagers of homosexuality using outlandish discipline, dubious “de-gaying” methods and Christian songs. But, there, Cameron meets other outcasts like her and, for the first time, starts to feel included. Based on the book of the same name by Emily M. Danforth.
