The poems and musings of Haitian poet, journalist and actor Dominique Batraville, in his tiny Port-au-Prince home. In his bedroom-office-library, he reads, writes in the labyrinth of books and manuscripts. A melancholy Batraville sings, recites poems and alludes to the struggles and triumphs of his life. Chants, murmurs, shadows and winds: the whole of Haiti emerges as the essential foundation of his being.
