Kate, a manic-depressive actress, checks into a suicide hotel, determined to kill herself. The hotel offers customers a variety of suicide options and promises total privacy. There, she meets Viktor, a hotel employee who explains the hotel’s “menu” to new clients. The two of them end up falling in love and decide to move in together. But life with the enigmatic Viktor becomes suffocating and Kate`s suicidal tendencies return in full force.
