A dialogue of images, filmed with cell phones. Stéphane Zagdanski is a French philosopher and writer; Maria de Medeiros is a Portuguese actress, director and singer. He lives in Paris, she travels constantly. They do not know each other, but will exchange ideas, feelings, beliefs, intimate pieces for six months. The correspondence circulates between Brazil, France, Spain, Mexico, Uruguay, Italy and Portugal. It includes literature, cinema, politics, history, music, ecology, philosophy, maternity and paternity. Maria goes to a demonstration against the disappearance of students in Mexico. Stéphane participates in the discussions about the publication of Heidegger`s Black Notebooks and closely follows the January 2015 attacks in Paris. Twenty letters form an epistolary film, a very personal and vivid picture of our convulsive world.
