"Ralé - The Lower Depths" is a movie inside a movie. Young directors, teenage prodigies, are filming “The Exhibitionist” on a farm located in a paradisiac area. The Baron lives in this farm and there he will celebrate his wedding with dancer Marcelo. The work investigates the Brazilian soul, putting the Amazon as the epicenter of the world, reflecting on existential issues and legitimizing the right to freedom and sexual individuality. Philosophical and musical, it is loosely inspired by the play "The Lower Dephts", by Maxim Gorky.
