After months without pay, the crew of a Turkish cargo ship arrives in an Egyptian port and discovers that the boat’s owner is also in debt with the harbor’s authorities. Taken to an isolated anchorage area, the ship is evacuated, but six members of the crew must stay until the owner’s debts are paid. As time passes and food supplies dwindle, tensions arise between the men.
