One day, on his way to work, the consecrated television host Jerry Langford is kidnapped by Rupert Pumpkin, an aspiring comedian obsessed with success, and his friend Masha. Wanting to escape the situation, Langford grants Pumpkin space on his talk show so he can, at last, present his number.
