Janne is an obsessive wannabe TV show producer. His wife has just left him, taking their son with her, and he is now depressed, living in his flat on unemployment benefits. Maria lives with her sister Helen and with her few-worded bodybuilder boyfriend Thomas. Helen is also Maria’s custodian, but she needs more privacy and is battling with the idea of sending Maria to a home for mentally disabled people. Maria is searching for love and she starts net dating using her sister´s picture on her profile. On the internet, Janne and Maria meet —and their lives are immediately transformed.
