A border region village between the Czech Republic and Germany tells the love story of Tommy, 19, from a socially disadvantaged background, and Julia, 18, from a wealthy family. The girl becomes unexpectedly pregnant. Against their parents’ wishes, the couple want to build a future together with the child. Money is a big issue for Tommy, who works as a baker’s apprentice. Hei is offered a risky deal – drug smuggling. The young relationship is put to the test.
