Hanieh is a 25-year-old living with her married sister in Tehran. Every day she has to commute long and tedious hours to get to the suburbs where she works as a teacher at a girls` primary school. Hanieh is trying to be transferred to a school in the city, but the paperwork seems stuck in endless bureaucratic channels. Her school does not cooperate properly either, since they have a different issue: two students are missing. Increasingly exhausted by her paralyzing everyday life, Hanieh struggles to find a way out.
