Three years after being accused of killing his wife, the powerful businessman Pedro Chazarreta appears dead in his house. Nurit Iscar, a famous author of detective novels, also known as Betibú, is called by the director of a newspaper to write a column about what will surely be one of the year’s news. She works with the journalists Jaime Brena, former editor of the police section, and his young and inexperienced substitute, Mariano Saravia. Together they find trivial details that the police dismisses as possible leads, but they might end mysteries that go beyond the murder of Chazarreta.
