Eight years ago, nine-year-old Cassandra was abducted and Matthew, her father, went straight to the authorities, whom immediately pegged him as the prime suspect. Eight years later, the police, whom are also trying to crack the bigger problem of crimes against children, are still investigating Matthew, whose marriage has deteriorated. It seems that nothing has changed, when clues begin to emerge hinting that Cassandra might be alive.
