In 1960s America, a couple recorded their affair on 60 hours of audio tape. The recordings are of an extremely private and often erotic nature, exposing the man`s infidelity and the couple`s sexual passions. Reconstructed from the original tapes, which were purchased online, the film reimagines a narrative in which the two become reliant on recording devises to document and memorialize their relationship. The tape recorder becomes the confidant, witness, and participant that the lovers come to depend on in this love triangle.
