José, a single father who is struggling financially after his divorce, plans a pawn shop heist along with a group of thieves. They manage to walk out of the place with a bag filled with gold wedding rings and flee Madrid, arriving in the strange town of Zugarramurdi, deep within the impenetrable forests of Basque Country. There, unexpectedly, they face something worse than the police: a coven of witches who not only want the rings, but the men’s souls as well.

Winner of eight Goya Awards, including best supporting actress (Terele Pávez).
