Sobre o filme

A depiction of Romania before Ceausescu’s downfall. Nela is the daughter of a former colonel of the Securitate, the Romanian political police. Unlike her sister, she refused to become an agent of the Securitate and lives with her father. After he dies, she leaves Bucharest and ends up in a little town, where she meets Mitica, a surgeon who laughs at everything, just like her.
