Two men, Benigno and Marco, cross paths during a dance recital. The two later meet at a clinic where Benigno works as a nurse. Marco’s girlfriend, a famous matador named Lydia, is in a coma after a bullfighting accident while Benigno is taking care of another comatose woman: a beautiful ballet student named Alicia. A strong friendship forms between the two men and Marco admires how Benigno talks and interacts with Alicia, as if she were awake. However, Marco begins to notice that Benigno’s infatuation with Alicia might be going too far.
