Laura, an Argentine Brazilian immigrant, wanders through the streets of New York, night after night, in search of lights and celebrity glamour. The film follows her entering the city’s most exclusive parties through the backdoors. At the end of every night, Laura returns to her tiny apartment, where she hides her poverty and creates her own diva image.
