Eighteen-year-old Shira is the youngest daughter of her Orthodox Hassidic family from Tel Aviv. She is about to be married off to a young man of the same age. It is a dream-come-true and Shira feels prepared. When her 28-year-old sister, Esther, dies while giving birth to her first child, the family postpones Shira’s wedding. Everything changes when Yochay, the late Esther‘s husband, is matched to a widow from Belgium. The mother of the girls finds out that Yochay may leave the country with her only grandchild and proposes a match between Shira and Yochay. Shira will have to choose between her heart‘s wish and her family duty.
