Middle-class pensioners Eva and Alexander lose their entire life savings in the wake of the financial crisis. Eva reluctantly joins a protest movement against the banks. Soon, nothing is as it once was. Not only does her daughter distance herself from her activism, but Alexander is also arrested for inciting terrorism.
