Daniel agrees to shelter Julia, the daughter of an old childhood friend who has just committed suicide, in his home. As his wife, Laura, gradually manages to make Julia regain her will to live, Daniel begins to feel threatened by some of the girl’s actions, awakening in him past fears and memories that he had decided to bury.
