A Japanese tourist on vacation in Europe decides to visit a wine cellar and taste the world famous French wine. He becomes completely drunk and gets separated from his traveling party. Wandering through the streets and without speaking a word of French, he is helped by Luisa, a truck driver who offers to take him back to his hotel. On his journey back, he discovers the pleasures that make a foreign tourist leave behind his tour, his hotel, his traveling companions, and eventually his own country.
