Grandma goes to the supermarket and breaks all the rules of good behavior to draw people’s attention. A sharp and funny criticism of the everyday problems faced by the elderly in Brazil, the film is based on a true story that took place in the southern city of Curitiba. The lead actress, Lala Schneider, won the prize for Best Actress in a 35mm short at the 2004 Gramado Festival.
