Larry “Lonesome” Roads, an Arkansas homespun hobo, becomes an overnight media sensation. But, as usual, more fame leads to more power and more power leads to more corruption. The film features many celebrities appearing as themselves, including Burt Ives, Mike Wallace, Betty Furness, Bennet Cerf, among others.
