The lyricism and natural richness of the Trás-os-Montes region are the theme of this fiction film. The screenplay focuses on the impoverishment of the area and the depopulation. Despite being one of the largest natural regions in Portugal, the area is lacking in agricultural exploitation and natural resources. However, it is rich in its folklore, dialects, dances, and songs.
