Sobre o filme

This comedy is set in one of the most chaotic urban conglomerates on the planet - Mexico City. It concerns an issue that is all too common in big cities, namely the feeling of insecurity. Gabriel is a man obsessed with security and convinced that his mission in life is to make everyone aware of this . He has been producing an interminable documentary on the subject. In his personal life, the priority consists in not becoming involved and not causing more problems for his ex-wife. Tere is now in an excellent financial situation, since she married a responsible, kind man who also happens to be very rich. After much insistence on the part of his daughter Valentina, Gabriel decides to use Tere?s pick-up to have dinner out with his old friends at an expensive restaurant. It couldn?t be worse. A group of robbers hold up all of the clients, and take all: money, bags, clothes, and Tere?s pick-up. A few days later, having been told off as usual by his ex-wife, Gabriel sees the stolen car going along the street. Accompanied by beautiful Sofia, whom he met in the hold-up at the restaurant, he decides to go after the car and put things to rights where Tere is concerned. He eventually embarks on a hectic chase through the streets of Mexico City, the results of which will not consist only in recovering a mere pick-up.
