A journey through Islam, through visits to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Chechenia, and Qatar, in order to outline a picture of recent history subsequent to the September 11, 2001, attacks. An endeavor to shed light on the process that leads to as radical a choice as self-sacrifice on the part of young men who turn themselves into a human bomb. The directors of the film traveled for ten years throughout these countries under heavy Moslem influence, and met with clan leaders, mullahs, and other followers of the Koran.
