It’s Sunday and Alexandre, an esteemed writer, is getting ready to leave the house he’s always lived in once and for all. He finds a letter from his wife, Ana, describing a summer’s day 30 years ago. And so Alexandre begins a strange journey where past and present blur into one. Living vicariously through his books alone, there are moments of happiness in his life that he let get away. Moments he wishes he could have again for a day. Or forever. While re-evaluating his life, Alexandre is given the chance to experience something new when he helps an Albanian child get across the border.
