Miles is a recently divorced and failed writer, who makes a living as a high school teacher. Driven by his passion for wine, he invites his best friend, Jack, a former romantic lead actor who is about to get married, to accompany him to a place up California State known as the “wine city”. Jack accepts the invitation, as he wants to enjoy his last weekend as a bachelor. On the Californian coast, the two friends overindulge in wine. Jack falls for a girl and decides to give up his wedding. Miles, in turn, tries to bring his friend back to his senses until he meets a waitress. As Jack’ wedding nears, neither of them will be the same when they return to LA.
