Willem, Jacques and Chris, about 16 years old, are best friends. They live in the Dutch bulb area, which serve as a backdrop for their adolescent games and escapades. They approach the threshold of adult life while still clinging to the comforts of an idyllic childhood. But a dramatic accident changes everything.
