With a small super 8 camera in her handbag, a young woman travels the world to discover the secrets of the great contemporary film makers. She goes from Tokyo to Havanna, passing through Cairo, Paris, London, and New York. She meets Bernardo Bertolucci, Francis Ford Coppola, Emir Kusturica, Abel Ferrara, Frederick Wiseman, Hector Babenco, and others. All of them say they will reveal the mystery of their art to her.
