Diego and Blanca are a couple with a relationship based on sex, a good deal of fighting, and hours wasted away sitting in front of a TV set. Blanca routinely tortures Diego with her unstable temperament and sudden outbursts. The situation is aggravated when, one night, Diego has a telephone call from Karina, his daughter by a former marriage. The teenaged daughter has run away from her mother?s and would like to live with her father, which Blanca is most certainly not having. Although he would like to welcome his daughter, Diego is under pressure such that he is incapable of welcoming her at home. As an answer to his dilemma, he houses her in a hotel. As from then, a series of events cause Diego to lose his grip over the situation and to adopt attitudes that were formerly unthinkable.
