Winner of the 3rd Mostra`s Public Prize, besides the Cannes Film Festival`s Critics` Prize and the Silver Shell in San Sebastián, the film follows the difficult trajectory of Vera Angi, an 18-year-old young woman who works as a nurse in a hospital. Driven by her yearning for justice, she decides to report the wrong things that happen in the institution. She is then sent to a party school, where she must study political concepts and social rules. There, she falls in love with André, one of the school`s teachers, triggering a series of problems for both. After spending a night together, André is forced to leave the place, leading Vera to plunge into a deep emotional imbalance. In the end, she manages to conclude her course, but doesn`t come out unscathed from the rigid process she went through.
