Starting from the crisis of a young couple, the film discusses the changes caused in the Cuban family unit as a consequence of the revolution. The incorporation of women into tasks of social and political responsibility ends up causing a series of conflicts in relationships: on one side is family tradition, and on the other a social model that does not differentiate by sex. The screenplay thus investigates the attitudes and emotional reactions triggered by these issues.
