At dawn, a man in a powerful Ferrari attempts to cross the center of Paris in eight minutes. At the wheel is director Claude Lelouch himself – an aficionado for speed car racing. The adventure filmed in one plane-sequence frightens pedestrians, animals and other vehicles on the way: the director and his assistant Elie Chouraqui wind up in a police office to explain.
