A road movie about the "Rolling Thunder" show, which passed through various American cities under the command of Bob Dylan. Dylan`s songs illustrate overlaid scenes, which focus on different themes: time, sound, vision, characters, and audience. The show`s members improvise situations, remembering, for example, the glory days of folk music in Greenwich Village or making a reference to Hurricane Carter, the inmate for whom Dylan campaigned. Documentary techniques are used, including collective interviews, street chats, and performances.
