First fiction film directed by Cavalcanti. A small town in the country in England is attacked by German parachutists disguised as British soldiers on maneuvers. When the locals become aware of the treachery, they fight the enemy with the assistance of a hunter. Based on a short story by Graham Greene published in Collier?s magazine, in 1940, this fantasy thriller set in World War II was part of the war effort to raise the morale in Britain.
