Suspense, mystery, and fantasy blend in the story of a man who, after years of absence, discovers that his wife is leading another life, having practically abandoned their home and small child. He manages to reach her lover, but is surprised to see that in fact that man is not responsible for her having abandoned their home. She has a third life, hidden in a filthy room where she tries to protect a horrendous creature that she says she generated in her own womb. The feature film "Possession" won the Critics` Prize of the 5th Mostra.
