Coproduced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, the movie shows a groundbreaking investigation into the multi-million dollar paedophilia industry. The film infiltrates the brothels of Asia, then traces the sex tourists back to America, discovering it is as easy to buy a child in the US as it is in Asia. Speaking to pimps, victims and police officers, the documentary exposes how young children are pushed into prostitution. Running alongside the investigation are the personal stories of the victims. The filming team followed the main character, Michelle, over a five year period.
