The documentary portrays the life and work of Amancio Osmarino rubber tapper leader in the movement to defend the Amazon rainforest. Born and raised in Acre, he soon followed and met the holding on which the rubber tappers lived, and witnessed the beginning of the invasion of large landowners in the Amazon and its consequences in the forest. Living under constant threat, he is still an active voice in defense of a self-sustaining forest, preserved for future generations.
