In the eighties, a journalist and author sets himself the task of finding out what became of Dulce Veiga, actress and singer, who disappeared mysteriously two decades before. What he has not reckoned on is how much he will have to discover about himself before he finds her. His search takes him across all of Brazil from Rio de Janeiro to the Amazon forest, and he becomes more and more obsessed by the intriguing personality of Dulce’ daughter, a famous lesbian rock singer. Director Guilherme de Almeida Prado has adapted the novel of the same name by Caio Fernando Abreu.
