The Foreign Look (2005)
Sobre o filme
The documentary deals with the clichés and fantasies of the worldwide cinema about Brazil. Based on the book O Brasil dos Gringos, by Tunico Amâncio, the shooting took place in France (Lyon and Paris), Sweden, (Stockholm) and in the US (Los Angeles and New York). By means of interviews with directors and actors, the film tries to discover how these stereotypes from Brazil were created abroad.
