Puritanical and conservative industrial critiques the modern habits of their children, fans of rock n `roll, and the routine of his wife, a lady who spends her days of futile meetings and tea charities. A radical conservative man, he sticks to a moralizing league, but due to conflicts with relatives, he gets sick and ends up in an asylum. Later, as cured and bent on revenge, he sets in motion a plan of personal "modernization" to deal with his wife and children.
