Sobre o filme

Umber Singh, a Sikh who is forced to flee his village due to ethnic cleansing at the time of partition in 1947. Umber decides to fight fate and builds a new home for his family. After having only daughters, Umber dreams of having a male son. When Kanwar is born, he manages to make his dream come true. This mistake leads to a tragedy. Time goes by, and Umber, in the form of a ghost, tries to repair his faults.
