Trevor Reznik is a machinist whose body and mind become weakened through fatigue. Without getting proper sleep for over a year, his lack of attention and reflex responses lead to a serious accident, and this results in a man being badly mutilated. His colleagues blame him for the accident and want him canned, or do they? From then on, Reznik becomes paranoid that his life is in danger and begins to investigate some strange happenings around him. This leads him to question his own sanity. The film’s script is written by Scott Kosar of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame.
