A 16-year-old pregnant girl is taken by her parents to their village church. An old priest offers the girl a cup of tea and tries to find out who the child’s father is, but the girl doesn’t know. She tells him she got pregnant during a Virgin Mary apparition. The priest doesn’t believe her and throws her out of the church. On going back inside, he finds the cup from which the girl had drunk the tea levitating over the table. The church bells begin to toll.
