Rubén?s job as bodyguard whose responsibility it is to protect a Minister of State, is to shadow the politician - ever present, but imperceptibly so. In charge, as he is, of security, he has recourse to high society circles, but his private life is at a standstill. His family life is mediocre, he has no friends and scarcely an identity of his own. His silence and tolerance, however, are about to come to an end.
