Theo is a rapist who, after nine years, is set free from the closed regime of a psychiatric hospital. His fear of women and repressed desire triggered by this same fear, make his attempts to lead a normal life true martyrdom. At the age of 27, Nettie finally gets to break with the bonds that bound her to her father and to a life marked by psychological abuse. Theo and Nettie meet. The time at which both find they are in love marks the start of a journey to the limits of free will. In face of the monstrous or of the abnormal, the prospect arises of the terrors of solitude.
