Sobre o filme
The documentary is based on the letter that Pero Vaz Caminha wrote to the king of Portugal in 1500. With no aim to recreate historic facts, the film combines the reading of the most meaningful excerpts of the letter – performed by Ruy Guerra – with contemporary images that either reinforce or contradict what is told, drawing a parallel between Pero Vaz’ Brasil and the country of nowadays.
