A documentary that begins with the murder of a high-society couple in Barcelona. Their bodies were found stabbed in their mansion in Pedralbes. Cerveto, a former family chauffeur, ended up confessing the crime. His only wish was to be sentenced to death. After several trials, he was considered responsible for his actions, being condemned to two death sentences. At the end of the Franco government, however, the capital punishments were commuted to thirty years in prison, without future pardon. The film reconstructs the assassin`s life, revealing his contradictions and dreams, contrasted with comments from people who knew him in childhood, at work, and in prison.
